My name is Julia. I am from Hungary and I am second year nutrition student at Plymouth University, Peninsula Medical School as well as a featured nutritional chef on a healthy eating online platform. I started this blog to fill the gap left after using social media sites. To express anything that I was limited to express on Facebook or Instagram.
I was lucky enough to be raised in a nature- loving environment. My mother taught me and my sisters from a young age to be aware of nature, to be curious and to never stop learning. She shown us herbs and how to use them when we were feeling poorly, how to grow our own plants and how to respect nature by giving back, planting, recycling and taught us how to cook healthy using our home-grown fruit and vegetables.
I have been cooking since I was 12. I need to say, even if my mother was who first taught me how to cook, my biggest inspirations was always Jamie Oliver. I have grown up watching his cooking programmes, and 10 years down the line, I still follow his work. To me, he is the new face of healthy England, battling his way against junk food and misconceptions about food or nutrition. Join me on my journey finding balance.
